When we returned from Wildwood, my sister and her son came down to Midlothian to visit us and my parents. It was so nice to see them. Since they live in California, we are lucky to see them normally once yearly. Here are some photos from Maymount Park - I'd never been there but we decided to go on - what turned out to be - a little more adventure than we wanted. It was really hot and the tram was not running... at least not where we needed it. We ventured down a long hill and discovered the only way back to the car was straight up again. It's a beautiful park - just wish I'd picked up a map on the way in! Jimmy & Kim and their girls came down too Saturday. We had dinner here and they drove up the same night. It was nice to have most of my "family of origin" together -

The Murphy "Wildwood Adventure"
We recently returned from our yearly trip to Wildwood, NJ - the best beach on the east coast in our humble opinion! We love it there and have the good fortune to have a family home there that we can stay in. This year was much more of an adventure than usual. With the trunk packed tight, kids and dog in the back seat, our car began to die going over the LONG Bay Bridge. Yep, but we made it!! It was a long day, and a more expensive vacation than hoped, but we made it to Wildwood and we were all in good spirits. Now, our car in in Maryland. We are here - making a decision about what to do with our car. But I had a great time reviewing pictures from our trip - and will share a couple of my favorite here...

It's all about baseball!!
I love this picture of the boys on their first day of their baseball season in front of our house!! They look ready, eh? It has been all about baseball this spring with Murphy being the head coach of Mason's team! We are all having a lot of fun... Play ball! In fact, for Ryan's 6th birthday party in two weeks, we are going to a Richmond Braves baseball game.
